World Eaters 2 online slot game
World Eaters 2 is ELK Studios' long-awaited sequel, released in November 2026. The quirky monsters from the original World Eaters are back, and this time they're even hungrier. This game also comes with a bigger grid and a deeper progression system across 10 worlds, which basically means a lot more features to unlock. ELK did a great job with it, as this sequel feels just as polished as some of the best mobile games out there.

World Eaters 2 Theme and First Impressions

The city is back and bigger than ever, while the monsters from the first World Eaters have woken up with an appetite that no diet could fix. What we liked most is that the theme isn't just there for decoration. The monsters literally eat the buildings, so the story feels like part of the gameplay. At first, the grid can look a little busy, but after a few spins, it starts to make sense.

How World Eaters 2 Plays – Base Game
World Eaters 2 uses ELK Studios’ CollectR mechanic instead of paylines. Collector monsters move along the top of the grid, and a symbol pays when it matches a collector’s colour and has a clear path up to it, with no other symbols blocking the way.
The spin keeps going as long as the collectors can keep eating symbols, so one spin can lead to several wins.
These aren't match-based payouts either. Your wins depend on the number and level of the symbols the collectors eat. Here are the symbol values with a 1 EUR bet.

Bonus Features and Free Spins
World Eaters 2 starts with nine locked features that you'll unlock as you play. Along the way, you'll also find two bonus rounds, a few mini-games, and the X-iter bonus buy system.
Feature Access and Worlds
The game has 10 worlds, and each one adds something new as you progress:
- World 1: Upgrade Symbol. Upgrades all types of paying symbols.

- World 2: Bomb. At the end of a spin, the Bomb explodes and removes every paying symbol in its column.

- World 3: Stacked Symbols and Earthquake. Stacked symbols count as multiple symbols, while the Earthquake adds extra symbols on top of the ones already on the grid.

- World 4: Super Straw. Collects every visible symbol of its colour, no matter where it is. It can also collect Bonus, Upgrade, Multiplier Wild, and Transform symbols.

- World 5: Transform Symbols. When included in a collection, the Transform symbol changes adjacent symbol clusters into the type that matches its collector. It can also reveal a multiplier wild and transform itself.

- World 6: Extra Collector. Adds a third collector between the two active collectors for the rest of the round.

- World 7: UFO. When the UFO symbol has a clear path, the normal collectors leave and the Alien Collector enters. It collects every paying symbol on the grid, plus the Bonus symbols.

- World 8: Pig Coin and Coin Game. At the end of each round, the Piggy Bank collects any Pig Coins on the board, and each collection can trigger the Coin Game.

- World 9: Forest Feature. After a win, it creates a forest cluster in adjacent empty spaces. The forest then reveals matching paying symbols, with a chance of upgrades and multiplier wilds.
- World 10: Super Bonus. Once every feature is available and you have at least one Super Bonus symbol, you can enter the Super Bonus. It uses the same 8x8 grid, but with three active collectors instead of two.
To move on to the next world, you need to trigger your current world's feature three times. The best part is that every feature you unlock stays active, so the longer you play, the busier the game gets.
Bonus Game

Collecting 3 Bonus symbols triggers the Bonus Game with 5 spins. In this feature, the grid expands to 8x8, and every feature is unlocked from the start, so you don't have to climb through the worlds to see what the game can do. Any symbol upgrades you land also stay active until the Bonus Game ends.
Super Bonus

To trigger the Super Bonus, you first need to unlock every feature in the game, and then trigger the Bonus with at least one Super Bonus symbol. You play on the same 8x8 grid with all features active, but this time you play with three collectors instead of two.
Berserker Collector
If a collector has nothing left to collect, the others leave, and the Berserker monster steps in. It turns every symbol on the grid into stacked symbols, and the board keeps refilling until the monster can eat something.
UFO Drops

Once you've reached World 7, the Mothership can collect UFO symbols at the end of a spin and trigger the UFO Drops mini-game. When the ship flies over again, it can do three things:
- Upgrade one or all symbol types.
- Stack one or all symbol types.
- Turn symbols into multiplier wilds.
Coin Game

Once you've reached World 8, the Piggy Bank collects Pig Coins from the board, and any collection can randomly trigger the Coin Game. This mini-game takes place on a 7x7 grid with three starting spins. The spin count resets every time a coin or feature symbol lands.
Your goal is to get coins onto the top row. These coins can be worth anywhere from 1x to 100x your bet. Along the way, you may also see two useful symbols:
- Bomb symbols: These remove blockers from their column.
- Accumulator: This turns into a coin worth the combined value of every coin on the grid.
Multiplier Wilds

Multiplier wilds can carry values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, or 100x. If more than one is part of the same win, their values are added together before being applied.
X-iter Bonus Buy

If you don't want to wait to unlock every world, the X-iter menu gives you five ways to skip ahead, all with the same 96% RTP.
- Bonus Hunt, 2,5x your bet: A round with one Bonus symbol already collected.
- Mega Hunt, 10x your bet: A round with two Bonus symbols already collected.
- Mini Game, 50x your bet: Randomly triggers the Coin Game, UFO, Bonus, or Super Bonus.
- Bonus, 100x your bet: Triggers the Bonus Game.
- Super Bonus, 250x your bet: Triggers the Super Bonus.
What to Expect When Playing World Eaters 2

We played 200 spins in World Eaters 2's demo mode here at Playcasino. We bet 1 EUR per spin and tested the game on desktop and mobile using Chrome.
We found that unlocking the first few worlds feels pretty quick, but the pace slows down as you go.
| World reached | Spin | Spins since previous world |
|---|---|---|
| World 2 | 10 | 10 |
| World 3 | 30 | 20 |
| World 4 | 47 | 17 |
| World 5 | 65 | 18 |
| World 6 | 85 | 20 |
| World 7 | 128 | 43 |
| World 8 | 193 | 65 |
The Bonus never triggered naturally during our session, so we bought the special rounds instead. These were the returns we got:
- The Bonus returned 8x.
- The Super Bonus paid 862,10x.
- The random mini-game gave us the UFO Drops and a 108,25x win.
The base game stayed pretty active during our test. We usually went about three to five spins without much happening before something landed. Our biggest base-game win was 15,20x, thanks to a well-timed alien.
By the end, our balance had gone from 5.000 EUR to 5.528,25 EUR, and we finished the session wanting to keep playing so we could unlock the final worlds.
Win Potential and Volatility
World Eaters 2 has a maximum win of 10.000x your bet. That matches the original World Eaters and ELK Studios' Pirots 5, while doubling the 5.000x cap in Huff N' Puff CollectR, another collector-style slot.
The 96% RTP is average for the industry and a clear improvement over the original game's 94%. As for the medium-high volatility, our balance didn't fall too quickly, but we still saw plenty of ups and downs.
Mobile Performance
The game loaded quickly in our Android and iPhone tests, and every button responded on the first tap. We also didn't miss out on any features because the collectors, progression system, and menus all worked just as well as they did on desktop.
Best Alternative Slots to World Eaters 2
ELK Studios has built a whole family of slots around collection mechanics. To see where this sequel fits, we compared it with Pirots 5 and Huff N' Puff CollectR, two of its closest relatives.
| Game | Provider | Volatility | Maximum Win | Special Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| World Eaters 2 | ELK Studios | Medium-high | 10.000x | Collectors, 10 worlds, 6x6 grid expanding to 8x8, stacked symbols, upgrades, Transform, multiplier wilds up to 100x, UFO Drops, Coin Game, Bonus and Super Bonus, X-iter |
| Pirots 5 | ELK Studios | Medium-high | 10.000x | CollectR mechanics, Collection Meter, special symbols, Captain Blackfeather, Catacombs, Cursed Temple, Bonus and Super Bonus, Switcheroo, Labyrinth, Portals, X-iter |
| Huff N' Puff CollectR | ELK Studios | Medium-high | 5.000x | CollectR mechanics, expandable grid, Corner Bombs, upgrades, Wolf Demolition and Construction, Piggy Fight, Golden Wheel and Piggy Bank, Hat Mania, Bonus and Super Bonus, X-iter |
World Eaters 2's world system makes the base game change as you play, but the trade-off is that you have to wait to see everything. Pirots 5 sticks closer to the studio's classic CollectR formula and feels less like a long climb, so it's a better fit if patience isn't your strong point. Huff N' Puff CollectR has a similar setup to World Eaters 2, but with much lighter progression, making it ideal if you're not looking for a long session.
Final Verdict – Is World Eaters 2 Slot Worth Playing?
What we liked most about World Eaters 2 is its progression system and how the game improves the longer you play. At the same time, that's also its biggest drawback, since the best features can take a while to become available. You'll need a little patience.
World Eaters 2 could be a great fit if you like unlocking upgrades and features one by one, or if you enjoy slots that give you something to work toward. But if you want fast and explosive sessions and bonus rounds with huge multipliers, there are better options out there.
