Theme and First Impressions
When we first opened Fortune Coins 2, we thought we'd loaded the wrong game, because it looks almost identical to the original. Lock & Respin Bonus Game
This feature triggers when at least one coin (silver, gold or jackpot) lands on each of the three reels at the same time, or when the stacks up top toss you the ones you're missing.
This is a standard Lock & Respin round, so you start with 3 spins where only coin symbols are in play. A gold coin stays locked in the center of the board and collects the values of every other coin that lands.
Each coin that hits the board gets scooped up by the collector and resets the spin counter back to 3. Coins can carry values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x or 12x, or one of the jackpots: Mini (15x), Minor (25x), Major (100x) and Grand (1.000x).
In our 200-spin test, this bonus handed out some of the better wins of the session, though nothing spectacular and nowhere near the win cap.
