Gates of Olympus 2500 online slot game
Pragmatic Play is taking its most famous Zeus slot another step further with Gates of Olympus 2500, due for release on September 28, 2026. The familiar 6x5 setup returns, but multipliers can now reach a huge 2,500x, alongside several different Free Spins modes.

Another Gates of Olympus – So What's New?
The original Gates of Olympus arrived in 2021 and quickly became one of Pragmatic Play's biggest slots. The basic formula was simple: Pay Anywhere wins, tumbling symbols, Zeus throwing multiplier symbols onto the grid and a Free Spins bonus where those multipliers could build up.
Pragmatic Play has kept returning to that formula ever since. Gates of Olympus 1000 arrived in 2023 and pushed individual multipliers from the original game's 500x up to 1,000x, while increasing the maximum win to 15,000x. More recently, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter added its special scatter prizes and raised the potential maximum win as high as 50,000x.
Gates of Olympus 2500 goes in a slightly different direction. The maximum win is 25,000x the bet, but individual multiplier symbols can now reach 2,500x. More importantly, there is much more variety in the Free Spins feature.

How Gates of Olympus 2500 Works

The basic game will feel immediately familiar to anyone who has played Gates of Olympus before.
It uses a 6x5 grid and the Pay Anywhere system. Landing at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the grid creates a win, with larger groups of up to 12 or more symbols paying more.
Winning symbols disappear and new ones tumble into their positions, allowing several wins from a single paid spin.
Zeus can also drop multiplier symbols worth up to 2,500x during both the base game and the bonus. If several multipliers appear during the same winning sequence, their values are added together before being applied to the win.
That 2,500x ceiling is a big jump from Gates of Olympus 1000, where the largest individual multiplier was 1,000x.
Four Different Free Spins Modes

Landing four or more Scatter symbols triggers the bonus and awards an initial 15 Free Spins. Three or more additional Scatters during the feature add another five spins.
This time, however, triggering the bonus doesn't always lead to exactly the same feature. Before Free Spins begin, a wheel determines which of four bonus modes you get.
There are two main types of Free Spins, with a stronger Super version of each.
- In the first Free Spins mode, multipliers that appear on a winning spin are added to a running total before that multiplier is applied to the win.
- The second version is more interesting. Every multiplier that lands is added to the running total, and that accumulated multiplier then carries over and is applied to subsequent wins during the feature.
Both modes also have a Super Free Spins version. Here, multiplier symbols start at a minimum of 10x, giving the feature considerably more potential from the beginning.
This is probably the biggest change in Gates of Olympus 2500. The original games were largely about getting into Free Spins and hoping Zeus kept building the multiplier. Here, there are several different versions of that idea rather than one standard bonus.
Bonus Buy, Super Spins and Ante Bets

Gates of Olympus 2500 also gives players plenty of ways to change how they play the game.
Where these options are available, there are four Bonus Buy levels priced at 100x, 250x, 500x and 1,250x the bet.
There are also Super Spins options at 20x and 250x, plus Ante Bet settings of 1.25x, 2.75x and 5.5x. These give players different ways to increase their chances of reaching the game's stronger features without going straight for the most expensive Bonus Buy.
The standard minimum total bet is 0.20, while the game has high volatility and a maximum win of 25,000x the stake. The highest RTP version is 96.52%, with 95.50% and 94.50% configurations also available.
First Impression
Gates of Olympus 2500 doesn't try to reinvent Gates of Olympus, and that is probably the point.
The 6x5 grid, tumbles, Pay Anywhere wins and Zeus multipliers all work much like players already expect. Instead, Pragmatic Play has taken the two parts people associate most with Gates — big multipliers and Free Spins — and pushed both further.
The obvious headline is the new 2,500x multiplier, which is two and a half times the maximum multiplier in Gates of Olympus 1000. But the four Free Spins modes may end up being the more important change, as they give the bonus much more variety than previous Gates releases.
Interestingly, the 25,000x max win is actually lower than the 50,000x available in Gates of Olympus Super Scatter. So Gates of Olympus 2500 isn't simply "the same game with a bigger maximum win." It's more about making Zeus's multipliers much stronger and giving players more ways to play the bonus.
