BlueOcean Gaming - Interview with Nina Jelen
We have been very happy to interviewing Nina Jelen, Marketing Manager at BlueOcean Gaming. We discussed many subjects as the present and the future of the Gaming Industry for example, but also topics strictly related to BlueOcean Gaming.
Q1.: Hi, can you please explain to our reader what is Blue Ocean Gaming doing? How was it founded and why?
Company was founded back in 2009 as developer of solutions for land-based casino operators, but the timing was just right with the early start of online gaming business to cease the opportunity and change the core business to the development of software for the online casinos.
Q2.: Since 2007 the online casinos’ world has gone throw many phases. How did BlueOcean Gaming adjust to all these changes?
Well, we are competing in a type of business that never sleeps, and we were aware of this fact right from the beginning. We knew there will be a lot hard work, constant creativity, and a lot of developing required for us to be able to offer quality software competitive with others on the market and at the same time innovative and in step with the time.
Q3.: You offer several casino’s solutions: GameHub, White Label Casino Solution, Other casino solution and API’s. Which is the most successful one? Do you see a trend (ex.: specific markets are more interested in API’s while others in While labels…) on clients’ requests?
Our main solutions are GameHub and White Label Casino solution and they are both very successful. However, GameHub is more popular and requested mainly because it is a product designed for operators who already have an established online casino business, so let say it is also easier to start with in comparison to White Label which is much more time consuming on both client′s side and ours as well.
In terms of markets, we did not notice any special trend with only one solution being limited per market.
Q4.: Which one of BlueOcean Gaming’s products work best in your opinion?
Our game aggregation solution GameHub thanks to its easy to integrate nature and a great number of functionalities that come with it. Once we sign a deal with new client the integration can be done very fast thanks to its simplicity and constant support from our development team.
Furthermore, plug and play system comes very convenient once the API integration is completed on client side as operators can add whichever game provider from our library instantly.
Q5.: What makes BlueOcean Gaming better than its competitors?
Definitely the additional features we offer with our products and are unique to our GameHub aggregation service such as single free round integration across big number of game providers, a huge automated game catalogue with game details, icons etc., jackpot feed across all game providers and game history API. All this amazing GameHub features are also available for the clients who are after White Label Casino solution which is even more convenient.
Secondly thanks to our devoted team we can assure that the integration and delivery of our products is very fast, we are open to operator needs and flexible as much as possible, 24/7 support across all products.
Q6.: Are there specific markets you focus on?
We operate under Curacao Gaming license therefore our target markets are depending on the territories in which the license is accepted and where the online gaming is allowed. Also, with game provider restrictions the spectre of markets is getting smaller. What we try to do is follow the trends and find some new undiscovered markets where we see potential, but things are changing very quickly so it is quite challenging to predict where to put the focus on.
Q7.: These last years have drastically changed the iGaming landscape: on one side a Pandemic, on the other one Blockchains and Virtual Reality’s Casinos strengthening their presence in the online gaming. How do you see the online casinos’ future at this point?
Although there are many industries that suffered during Covid pandemic and unfortunately still do, we can’t state the same for iGaming industry. Since the beginning of pandemic our work changed in terms of office work, we needed some time to get used to remote work and not being in the office able to have meetings and contact in person, however from business side we have our hands busy right from the start of the pandemic. Online gaming was the only form of casino gaming in these times given all the restrictions and lock downs. We believe that although the pandemic will eventually be over the importance of online gaming will still grow as everyone will want to have a backup strategy just to be on the safe side.
Q8.: Which is the biggest success achieved by Blue Ocean Gaming?
Constant growth and the long-term relationship with our operators which we recognize as a result of successful work we do. We are always there for our clients with quality products and constant support from our team which allows us to build a really strong bond with our clients and that is also why we are not losing operators, in contrary actually we keep on rising the profits.
Another part of the successful story is the great relationship that we maintain and build with our partners or better said online casino game providers we work with. Although we are currently working with more than 90 software providers, we always take our time to discuss and analyse our relationship resulting in success for both parties.
Consequently, thanks to the constant growth we are also constantly expanding our team and we are looking forward to developing new amazing things.
Q9.: Which are BlueOcean Gaming’s plans for 2022?
We are very happy that situation with Covid-19 is finally going for the better in terms of live events as well. Therefore, our plan is to be present at biggest gaming shows across Europe where we would like to showcase our products and finally be able to meet again with our clients and partners, but also to find new business opportunities.
In terms of our offer, we plan to develop some new features which will make our gaming solution even more convenient.
